Wind Sinfonia
An air driven data sculpture
FH Potsdam, 2011
Information visualizations usually try to tell a story. How could this story be made more tangible and how could data be presented physically? This project presents data through air and thereby creates a flexible data sculpture. To illustrate the idea, the interactive installation visualized the visitors breath as they were exhaling.
Every fan represents one second of exhaling - this allows the visitor to generate an individual, ten second long symphony by alterating the strenght of his exhalation.
